ABOUT ME

I have been in the volleyball world for over 20 years... since my aunt tossed me a ball at one of her junior high games in the early 90's. Since then, I have evolved into a successful varsity coach with two district championships and state playoff appearances under my belt. Outside of the gym, I teach physical science and love being in the classroom.

My philosophy as a coach and an educator is to motivate my students, and student-athletes, to become a better person throughout the year (and season), and help them develop a sense of pride in everything that they accomplish.

Along with Coach Goodman, I also answer to the name 'MOM' by my ten year old daughter (who just started playing developmental volleyball). I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter as we are busy on the weekends with at least one day in the gym, or at a stadium watching Houston sports!

- Chemistry and IPC
- Used Canvas platform for online classroom. Also utilized online tools like PhET, Kahoot, Quizizz, and BrainGenie to encourage online learning and collaboration.

- Taught regular physics to junior level students
